    Luke moore's answer
we would give him 2 marks for his answer as he has only made 2 clear points. It could improve by using more key terms such as intermolecular forces or chains. Try to include more detail aswell.

Ian: 3/4 marks, To get a higher mark you need to add information on intermonocule forces and the thickness of it and also the energy needed.

Ashley; 4marks, You need to mention intermonocule forces and the difficulty to seperate the hydrocarbons

Luke m- 3 marks, explain in more detail about other physical properties.
Ashley- 4 marks, need to mention more about boiling points and explain about the bonds.

  5. You need to mention viscosity
but you did mention melting point, that it will be stronger because one is bigger and that it will have more particles.

  7. Elizabeth you need to talk about the forces between the chains and the energy needed to seperate.
Ashley you spoke about the different reactions. You need to speak about the forces and energy.

    Mark: 4/5
Reason: Good use of terminoligy, you mentioned the length of the chain, the boiling point, and you talked about therm in great detail, you also mentioned intermolecular forces. the oonly thing you have not mentioned is the energy needed and viscosity.

    Mark 4/5

You mentioned Viscosity, boiling point, and length of the different chains, you have only failed to mention the intermolecular forces.

  9. Luke Moore's answer: 3 marks as you have talked about the strength, boiling point and difficulty to separate. You need to talk more about the viscous to improve your mark.
